    • The association represents the interests of its membership by participating in international and regional committees that focus on the industries that members represent  such as:
      • the  International Committee on Credit Reporting (ICCR), the standard setting body for the information industry that is supported by the World Bank/IFC.
      • The Asia Pacific Regional Consultative Group (part of the ICCR) consisting of regulators and information service providers from the region
    • The association also supports members in their discussions with regulators and supervisors on the legal framework for the information industry in the regions and countries that they operate in by providing a source of knowledge of the best practices that are in place in other countries and advocating how these could be adopted.
