Can be delivered in any format, but “live” in
electronic form. Excludes custom market research
surveys.
Trade Publishing
Serial publications, predominantly delivered to
a business address and generally catering to a specific
vertical industry or horizontal function within business,
and substantially advertising-supported. Includes
multiple print and electronic formats. Excludes popular
business publications typically subscribed to by
individual consumers (e.g. BusinessWeek, The Wall
Street Journal, Fortune, PC World) and periodical
aggregators.
Directories & Catalogs
Published content organized according to standard
product/service classifications, intended for use
by buyers and/or specifiers in business and industry.
Can be provided in database or publication format.
Excludes single-vendor catalogs.
Exhibitions
Trade shows and expositions whose primary mission
is to bring together buyers and sellers. Sale of
exhibit space is a standard business model component.
Excludes professional conferences/symposia and meetings
focused primarily on continuing education.
