DataCheck Limited is Pakistan’s premier credit reporting service founded in the private sector in 2001. We work with the credit lending institutions in the country, facilitating them with credit information to screen and monitor borrowers.
DataCheck inaugurated its services with negative reporting in 2001. In 2007 it incorporate positive reporting service as well. In 2008, with assistance from the International Finance Corporation (IFC) we launched credit scoring service, which was a first in the country. We are privileged to have all major consumer lenders in Pakistan avail our services. In October 2013 we launched a second credit bureau for the micro-finance sector at the national level. A large number of banks and non-banks are availing our services. We are scheduled to commence commercial reporting services in Sept 2019.
In 2015 the Parliament passed The Credit Bureau Act. DataCheck is licensed and regulated by the State Bank of Pakistan.
