Alibaba Group has announced the launch of its Alimama online advertising distribution web network. According to blog reports “publishers will be able to specify the format of ads for their websites, the types of ads they would like to serve, the price for the ads, and the profile of the website to let advertisers to choose. Advertisers can [then] set the readers they want to target, their budgets and the type of ads.
