The index was released on Wednesday for the first time and reveals that the political and policy environment has been highly volatile since the election of the Abbott Government in September 2013 and is likely to remain that way into the foreseeable future.
The Political Monitor Australian Political Risk Index is a proprietary index that tracks political and policy uncertainty on a daily basis using a number of variables and inputs that allow for consideration of both the level of uncertainty and the implications for business forecasting.
