Dun & Bradstreet Australia (D&B) is pleased to announce that the Australian Tax Office (ATO) has chosen to renew its contract for the provision of debt management services. As a trusted supplier-of-choice to the Government sector, D&B enjoys a long-standing relationship with the ATO, partnering with them since 2006 to pioneer the use of third party agencies for the collection of outstanding tax debt. D&B was the first organization to be appointed to the ATO’s External Debt Collection Agency (EDCA) panel in 2007 – a position it maintains to this day – and currently manages the largest number of tax referrals on behalf of the ATO.
According to CEO of Dun & Bradstreet Australia and New Zealand, Clark Butler, the contract renewal is testament to D&B’s high performance standards in its collections activities and the integrity with which it manages the privacy, security and conduct requirements of the ATO.
“We’re delighted to continue our long-term partnership with the ATO and look forward to working collaboratively with the agency to achieve optimal outcomes for the Government and taxpayers.”
The contract covers a period of two years, effective 1 December 2015
