Equifax and TransUnion announced their Q1 2020 results and surprised us with double digit growth.  Under normal circumstances that could have indicated the start of an excellent year.  Since we are now in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, there are indications that the volumes are declining and companies are moving into what they describe as a ‘Downturn Playbook’.

BIIA is tracking company results quarterly, thus we will keep you up-to-date via and this newsletter.  We are also collecting data on what is happening on the fringes of B2C and B2B information services, such as fintech, AML/KYC compliance, e-commerce, and BIG Tech.  There will be winners and losers and we will keep tracking them.  On page 2 and page 14 we provide you with a preview of what may develop.
