Eckhard Geulen has taken over as Regional Director DACH at Bisnode, the leading provider of digital business information in Europe, effective September 1, 2011.
Geulen is responsible for leading Bisnode’s business operations in Germany, Austria and Switzerland and to continue the group’s growth path in this region. Eckhard Geulen has a long-term experience from telecommunication and internet based businesses and has excellent skills in new types of business models in the information industry.
He will be tasked with growing Bisnode’s market share in the digital business information market. Germany, Austria and Switzerland form the most important business region for Bisnode outside the Nordic countries. The group is active on the market with several renowned brands, including Hoppenstedt, D&B, Wisur and Credita, which deliver solutions for credit, marketing and business information. In addition, Bisnode is also offering product information and trade magazines with brands like Wer liefert was?, Hoppenstedt Publishing and ABC der deutschen Wirtschaft. Altogether, the group employs more than 900 people in the three countries.
