Bisnode has divested Svenska Nyhetsbrev AB, an independent supplier of niched business news, to Bonnier Business Press International AB. The sale is in line with Bisnode’s strategy to streamline its core business and focus on growth and increased customer value.
Svenska Nyhetsbrev is a supplier of independent business news in the areas of insurance, pensions, funds, banking, pharmaceuticals, telecom and energy. Svenska Nyhetsbrev reported annual revenue of approximately SEK 34 million in 2012 and has 26 employees.
“Bisnode’s strategy is to streamline its operations while at the same time releasing the power of Bisnode’s core offering to strengthen our position in the market. The sale of Svenska Nyhetsbrev is in line with our strategy and will simplify the realisation of synergies to meet the company’s full potential,” says Björn-Erik Karlsson, Bisnode Regional Director Nordic.
The sale will not have any significant earnings impact for Bisnode.
