BNM-WBG Credit Infrastructure Programme

Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) and World Bank Group (WBG), will jointly organize the fifth edition of Credit Infrastructure Programme for over 100 regulators and credit reporting, secured lending and collateral registries, and insolvency and debt resolution professionals from around the world. The programme will be composed of joint and specific themes from three main elements of Credit Infrastructure (CRINFRA): Credit Reporting, Secured Transactions and Collateral Registry, Insolvency and Debt Resolution. The Credit Infrastructure Programme will be delivered by leading international experts and held at BNM’s Lanai Kijang, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on Nov. 6-9, 2017.

The core objectives of this one of a kind knowledge sharing gathering is to provide policymakers and practitioners with the opportunity to:

  • Gain intermediate and advanced information on the three elements of credit infrastructure and how they contribute to financial growth and stability
  • Be updated on new trends, best practices and international standards
  • Network and strengthen professional ties as well as explore and utilize potential cross country/region collaborations.

The training is by invitation only, targeted for policy makers and practitioners from public and private entities around the world. More specifically, the list of selected attendees will aim to include public and private constituents such as Central Banks, Ministries of Finance, Economy, Justice, and Trade, Commercial Banks, Chambers of Commerce, Business Associations, Credit Reporting Service Providers, and Independent Alternative Dispute Resolution Centers. No fees are charged for training and the training will be conducted in English.
