Bangkok-based business information provider, Business Online (BOL), announced its financial results for the first quarter of 2013. Revenues were US$2.9 million, up 12% year-on-year. BOL’s net income in the quarter was US$493,000, an increase of 6.6% compared to the same period last year. Diluted earnings per share in the period were Baht 0.02.
The majority of BOL’s revenues were generated from the company’s online information service. This amounted to US$1.95 million or 67% of total revenue – up 15% over 2012. Income from other services increased slightly by 2.5% to US$899,000 in the quarter and accounted for 31% of total revenues.
