In addition to top-class speakers, concrete best practice examples, exciting panel discussions and entertaining master classes, the 5th Excellence in Credit Management Award will be presented this year.   We look forward to learn which company was able to convince with a particularly sustainable credit management this year.

The BvCM Congress in Duesseldorf will be the meeting point for Germany’s credit professionals.

Jan Schneider-Maessen, General Manager of BvCM commented in the announcement:  “The many current and overarching crises and economies in transition requires highly competent credit management.”  He continued by mentioning that apart from the thematic of the Congress it will be important for many credit managers to be able to return to face to face meeting.  Two years of working in the virtual word has created the awareness that personal contacts are an indispensable part of business relationships.

The Business Information Industry Association (BIIA), domiciled in Hong Kong, and its global membership are delighted to be part of this congress.

Credit management is an important business function and represents one of the largest customer segments of business information.  Therefore being part in the BvCM Congress  permits our industry to gain insights about the information needs of this important customer segment.

Joachim C Bartels, Co-founder and Managing Director of BIIA will reflect on 180 Years of Business Information (1841-2021): A Symbiosis between Regulations, Information and Technology.

BIIA is also delighted that one its volunteers, Ingrid Riehl is moderating a panel of information industry professionals who are all members of BIIA.  The panel will discuss securing sustainable integrated growth: What is important right now?

BIIA thanks the BvCM for their kind invitation and we are looking forward to a mutually beneficial discussion.
