BIIA Member Cedar Rose Announce 3 Key Appointments in Dubai

We are pleased to announce that three new employees have joined our team in Dubai.

Combined, they have vast experience in the United Arab Emirates and the GCC working within the financial industry and corporate sectors. With a strong understanding of business intelligence, we believe these appointments are key to growing our client base, both in the MENA region and globally.

Samer Halbawi – Regional Sales Manager
Samer will be responsible for developing new business with our compliance and due diligence offerings.

He graduated from the Lebanese American University with a B.S. in Business in 2006. After graduating, Samer worked with the Dubai Islamic Bank as a Credit Analyst and at a later stage joined Thomson Reuters as an Account Director handling the Strategic Accounts in the UAE & Oman. Before joining Cedar Rose, Samer was the Regional Sales Director at Datasite, responsible for handling existing strategic accounts and new business to maintain and grow the Datasite footprint within the M&A due diligence space in the GCC. Kristina Nedova – Regional Sales Manager
Kristina will help clients simplify and accelerate risk screening, meet regulatory obligations and help protect them against financial crime.She brings a wealth of experience to the company which she gained while working with Financial institutions, Government and Corporate Accounts in the MENA region. Soheib Ghizali – Head of Sales
As head of sales, Soheib will be responsible for the growth of Cedar Rose in the MENA region. Before joining Cedar Rose, Soheib led the Business Development team at the Dubai Financial Market and served as Retail Strategy Head at Dubai Islamic Bank. Additionally, Soheib has been involved with several start-ups, including SAZMINING INC. – a crypto mining and advisory firm and Global Accelerated Ventures – a venture studio affiliated with the Oxford University.Soheib holds an MBA from Marquette University, USA, and an Advanced Postgraduate Diploma in Data Science from the Metro College of Technology, Canada.
