As of February 2026, Check Management Services (CMS) proudly announces the opening of its first European office: CMS IBERICA, now fully operational in Madrid. The new office is led by Mr. Rodolphe SCHAUENBERG, Managing Partner of CMS IBERICA and Head of Commercial Development in Europe for the Group, alongside Mr. Jean-François JARD.
Why Madrid?
Rodolphe SCHAUENBERG: “Booming Madrid was an obvious choice for us. Beyond its unique blend of history and culture, Madrid has become one of Europe’s most dynamic hubs for investment and business. Given CMS’ strong background and key position in the Latin American business information industry, establishing operations in Spain creates a natural strategic bridge between Europe and the Americas.”
What is the objective of this new office?
Rodolphe SCHAUENBERG: “Opening an office in Europe was crucial to ensure operational continuity between our activities in the Americas, Africa, and Asia. With Spain, CMS now operates in eight countries across four continents. This European presence acts as a crossing point for both our teams and our clients.
It accelerates response times and strengthens our global commercial development. We can now serve our European clients locally while providing the same affordable and reliable services that our international clients already trust in the Americas, Africa, and Asia.”
What’s coming next?
Rodolphe SCHAUENBERG: “The commercial development of CMS IBERICA is already well underway. In recent weeks, we visited several of our valued Madrid-based clients within the business information sector, and some potential new clients from the insurance industry. At the same time, we are establishing a new strategic alliance with one of our long-standing Latin American partners, specialized in compliance and anti-counterfeiting services. CMS IBERICA will provide full support to jointly develop our activities in Spain and across Europe. We have also begun organizing our spring schedule, with upcoming meetings and visits planned in London, Paris, and Madrid with clients, prospects, and strategic partners.
2026 is already off to a very strong start — and we intend to keep building on this momentum.”
