In his role, Pratt will oversee engagement with the Administration, Congress, state legislatures and other policymakers as well as relationships with think tanks, consumer advocacy groups, and trade associations. Pratt will work closely with senior leaders and key policymakers on important policy and reputational issues facing CoreLogic and its clients.

“Stuart’s considerable public policy leadership experience, as well as knowledge of data used for risk and identity management serve as the foundation for his understanding of the industries which we serve,” said Anand Nallathambi, president and CEO of CoreLogic. “His long-standing commitment to regulatory issues surrounding consumer protection laws will help CoreLogic to further develop key relationships in government and strengthen our ability to successfully meet the needs our clients. Most recently, Pratt served as president and chief executive officer of the Consumer Data Industry Association (CDIA). During his three decades with CDIA he was recognized as a champion for the consumer credit industry and regularly served on U.S. presidential and gubernatorial task forces on policy matters touching all facets of credit and related information flows. Additionally, he has advised the U.S. Department of Commerce regarding European Union-U.S. trade negotiation and has counseled private and government entities overseas on responsible uses of consumer data. Stuart currently also serves as the U.S. representative to an international committee focused on credit reporting in developing economies sponsored by the World Bank and International Finance Corporation as well as chair of an Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation subcommittee focused on facilitating trans-border data flows.

Pratt holds a bachelor’s degree from Furman University in Greenville, SC., and conducted his graduate studies in business at the University of Maryland, University College.
