NOAA’s Space Weather Prediction Center was forced to issue the alert. The NOAA alert issued said that: “Radio – Minor impacts on polar HF (high frequency) radio propagation resulting in fades at lower frequencies.”

NASA has issued a CME report on the heels of a significant coronal mass ejection that occurred yesterday. This particular CME is considered a “C” class, which is the third strongest class of CME on a scale that includes X and M class flares as first and second strongest. The CME is traveling at 700 miles per second and at these speeds,they have typically created less electronic equipment interference.
