On May 11, 2011 the UK Information Commissioner issued the UK’s first statutory code of practices ‘designed to help businesses and public sector bodies share people’s personal data appropriately.  In the attached article, Mike Bradford, director at Regulatory Strategies Ltd., examines the practicalities and complexities of the code of practices against the backdrop of the credit industry.  The featured article was published in June by Cecile Park Publishing under the heading of ‘Data Protection, Law & Policy: Credit Data’.
