With the development of the ESG platform, the solution provider CRIF made it onto the list of companies that were able to inspire enthusiasm through their sustainable commitment this year. This is the result of a comprehensive study commissioned by the Institute for Management and Economic Research (IMWF).

The topic of sustainability in companies is becoming increasingly important and has not only been a central concern of the management level since climate change, the corona pandemic or the energy crisis. “Austrian companies are increasingly launching ecological initiatives, converting their power supply to green energy or supporting social projects. Customers and stakeholders increasingly expect companies to take their ecological and social responsibility seriously – and also make their economic decisions dependent on it,” explains Axel Maireder, CEO IMWF Austria. As part of the study, the IMWF has shown for the third time which companies are currently perceived as particularly sustainable.

ESG platform for more transparency

. In 2021, CRIF launched the global ESG platform SYNESGY for easy ESG evaluation. “We are very pleased that our sustainability efforts have been confirmed by the IMWF study. Our major concern is to give all companies worldwide the opportunity to make their sustainability measurable and transparent. CRIF has developed an ESG platform supports the companies to simply evaluate themselves and their supply chain according to ESG criteria. We are convinced that the measurability of sustainability is an important lever for sustainable improvement”, says Mag. Boris Recsey, CEO of CRIF Austria.

After the successful launch of the ESG Platform 2020, the solution is a global standard in ESG evaluation and is available in more than 20 languages. CRIF has its own rating agency that is authorized to certify companies according to ESG in accordance with the rules. Also against the background of the European supply chain law, the tool offers great simplifications for companies that have to manage the ESG processes of their supply chains. All suppliers can be integrated into the certification process. Thanks to the fully digitized process, the administrative effort is kept within limits. It is a special concern of CRIF to contribute to climate neutrality. This consists of developing the ESG platform as a technology company and providing the initial certification free of charge – a democratic solution that is easy for everyone to implement. CRIF sees itself as an enabler and wants to help shape the future.
