David Cerrato has been appointed INFORMA’s new CISO (Chief Information Security Officer). In an environment of growing concern about information protection, David Cerrato will lead the Security Sub-directorate, reporting directly to the Deputy General Manager for Technology.

David Cerrato, a computer science engineer from the University of Alcalá de Henares, holds an executive MBA in IT management from IDE Business School, and a Master’s degree in cybersecurity management, ethical hacking, and offensive security from EIP. He has also completed various specialized programs, including Artificial Intelligence at the University of Oxford. His professional career has spanned the fields of technology and cybersecurity, accumulating more than 15 years of experience.

After starting his career at INTA (National Institute of Aerospace Technology) and working at companies such as DLL and Gemini Recoveries & Collections, he joined the KRUK Group in 2018 as IT Director and CISO for Spain.

He also participated, as co-founder and Technical Director, in the Aerodrome project, developing the first covered space for drone flights, and collaborates on various cybersecurity initiatives and forums.
