Josh Peirez has joined D&B as President, Innovation & Chief Marketing Officer.  He is also a member of the company’s Global Leadership Team.  Mr. Peirez is responsible for driving future innovation for D&B by leveraging newly-created product platforms and the recently formed Innovation Labs.  He also oversees D&B’s marketing function, global data strategy, the overall customer experience, and the sales and marketing product portfolio.

Before joining D&B, Mr. Peirez spent 10 years with MasterCard, most recently in the role of Chief Innovation Officer for MasterCard Worldwide. In that role, he led the development and commercialization of a number of payment platforms.  Before that, Mr. Peirez was the Chief Payment System Integrity Officer for MasterCard, overseeing compliance, fraud prevention and the security of MasterCard’s payment systems. A trained lawyer, he also previously served as Group Executive, Global Public Policy and Associate General Counsel. Before joining MasterCard in 2000, Mr. Peirez was an associate at Clifford Chance Rogers and Wells focusing on antitrust litigation. Mr. Peirez received his Bachelor of Science degree in Policy Analysis, Economic and Government Studies from Cornell University. He also earned a JD from Brooklyn Law School, where he received the Corpus Juris Secundum Award in Criminal Law and Comparative Constitutional Law. Mr. Peirez has served on the Federal Reserve Board’s Consumer Advisory Council and the Board of Directors for the Westchester County Association. In 2009, he was among the Top 10 Innovators of 2009 ranked by Bank Technology News.  Source: D&B Website
