Bureau van Dijk Fame database now available for visual analytics
Compass announced a new partnership with Bureau van Dijk (BvD), a supplier of private company information. With this relationship Fame, a database of companies in the UK and Ireland, becomes available for visual analytics within the Encompass product range.
Fame is a deep information resource with details of two million companies in detail and 220,000 companies in summary format. Additionally, Fame provides details of 850,000 companies that are active but not required to file accounts or have yet to file accounts and 5 million companies that are no longer active.
Specifically, Fame includes: Original accounts and documents as filed at Companies House and the Companies Registration Office in Ireland; financials and financial strength metrics, including credit scores and ratings and CCJs; adverse filings; directors and managers; shareholders and subsidiaries and corporate structures and families; M&A deals and rumours; industry descriptions, SIC codes and research;
