In this role, Kearney will provide Encompass with the benefit of more than 20 years technical product marketing experience coupled with in-depth expertise in enterprise computing, including big data analytics and data driven software applications. His initial focus is to help Encompass build its presence in the UK market following the recent nationwide release of its technology platform.

Kearney will have overall responsibility for developing technology-related collateral for the company and for providing technical support to the company’s sales teams. He will also focus on keeping up-to-date with all the latest customer feedback and market trends, ensuring that relevant knowledge is captured and used to inform Encompass’s product development process.
Prior to joining Encompass, Kearney was for more than three years, senior director, big data for IBM, responsible for explaining and promoting the IBM big data platform to prospects and clients. Previous to that he was director of strategic product marketing for data warehousing company, Netezza, with responsibility for bringing new products to market and strengthening market recognition of the company. Kearney’s earlier career included spells working for Oracle as product marketing manager and principal consultant and a period at BT as business systems analyst.
