Experian has announced the launch of its economic and commercial portfolio webinar series. The webinar series aims to help companies navigate the challenges that they face in 2021.

Experian says that in the months since the Coronavirus first hit the headlines we’ve seen and experienced seismic shifts in the way we live, work and spend. While we all try to adapt to a new normal, the reality is ‘normal’ continues to evolve at pace.

At Experian, we’ve been monitoring the behavioural and economic impacts of the pandemic – and the measures the Government has put in place to tackle it – from the very beginning. Alongside our industry research and the ongoing tracking of changes to demographics, this puts us in a unique position to observe and report on emerging trends.

The business landscape has changed and continues to change at pace. The unprecedented volatility translates to a significant increase in risk for those managing commercial portfolios and the challenge during this period has been the volatility of those trends. Changes are rapid, and sometimes short-lived. Signs of recovery seen in one month are reversed the next. This unpredictability makes devising appropriate strategies much more difficult.

Throughout 2020 our webinar insight series brought clarity and guidance to many people and businesses dealing with the challenges of providing and managing commercial portfolios.  We saw great interest as things changed at pace and we were able to provide the latest economic and credit trends, along with a focus on specific challenges lenders and trade creditors were facing.

The credit landscape continues to change and there’s still a lot of volatility up ahead. That’s why we’re re-launching our webinar series for 2021, to continue to help businesses navigate these challenging times and understand how learnings can be applied to credit risk strategies to ensure they’re fit for purpose in a turbulent economy. We’ll also consider the other factors disrupting the market and ways in which the right data, analytics and technology can help you meet those challenges head on.

The intention is to provide guidance and clarity on the strategies and changes that are needed to manage risk throughout 2021 and beyond.

The economic focused webinars aim to provide companies with the latest monthly update, showing economic trends and predictions.

Whilst the commercially focused webinars will provide companies with the latest commercial credit trends and take a considered look at specific challenges the industry faces.
