GBG (AIM: GBG), the identity data intelligence specialist, is pleased to announce the appointment of Liz Catchpole as an independent Non-Executive Director of the Company with effect from 1 September 2017.

The Board also announces that Dick Linford, who has served as a Non-Executive Director of the Company since November 2006 will be standing down with effect from 30 November 2017. Upon his retirement his duties as Audit Committee Chairman and Senor Independent Director will transfer to Liz.

Liz, a chartered certified accountant, is currently an independent Non-Executive director and the Audit Committee Chair of both Be Living Holdings (formerly Willmott Residential) and Investec Wealth & Investment. She has over 20 years of executive Board level experience gained primarily in the insurance, business services and property sectors. Liz has also held Non-Executive positions at bwin.party, Bournemouth Water and The University of Law. Her career started in insurance with a subsidiary of GE Capital where she worked for almost seventeen years. She also holds an MBA from Cranfield University.
