GBG Employ and Comply services will transition to specialist background screening provider, GBG Sells Its UK Background Screening Division to Global Specialist
GBG, the global identity data intelligence specialist, has announced it has signed an agreement to sell its UK Employ and Comply business unit to leading international provider of technology solutions for background screening, verifications and compliance, First Advantage.
The transfer of GBG’s Employ & Comply business will enable wider customer access to a rich set of background checking solutions and insights and sees the existing team transition to First Advantage as part of the contract. This latest agreement continues GBG’s global strategy to focus on its three core business capabilities: Location Intelligence, Identity Verification and Fraud Prevention.
Founded in 2003, privately owned First Advantage, part of the SilverLake portfolio, delivers comprehensive background check solutions that enable employers to make confident choices, reduce risk, and maintain compliance. It is one of the largest screening providers in the world, conducting over 75 million screening checks annually, with over 35,000 customers globally.
