The initiative would require a warning button for all Internet transactions. Once the button is activated the transaction will be legally binding. The warning button would have to reveal pricing, delivery cost and terms of agreement.
A survey by Infas indicated that 8,4 million German consumers were defrauded during the past two years. Furthermore 5.4 million consumers had accidentally entered into subscription agreements through downloads or by participating in games.
