Three former D&B executives and an executive of D&B Israel launched Powerlinx, a new global business-to-business matchmaking company.
Powerlinx received its first round of seed funding and unveiled its digital platform, which combines proprietary intent recognition technology, Big Data, and advanced needs-matching analytics. Now, through the power of these capabilities, companies can be directly connected to new markets, growth opportunities, new suppliers, capital sources and each other in a far more efficient manner than ever before. The company’s platform, released into beta in early November, has successfully created and introduced business opportunities to its members worth hundreds of millions of dollars.

Steve Alesio is currently an Operating Partner of Providence Equity Partners, and Chairman of several of its portfolio companies, including Blackboard, Inc. and Miller Heiman, Inc. Prior to Providence, Steve spent 10 years at Dun & Bradstreet Corporation, where he served as Chairman of the Board and CEO from 2005-2010, and 19 years at the American Express Company, completing his tenure as President of the Small Business Services group.
Doron Cohen is an experienced entrepreneur who has founded, built and successfully sold several companies. He has been Chairman of both Dun and Bradstreet (Israel) and D&B Consumer Credit Bureau (Israel) since 2002. Doron also founded and serves as Chairman/CEO of CB Alliance, a boutique equity and business accelerant group with a global portfolio of companies and clients. Previously he was founder/CEO of Fidelity Holdings, a company he grew to over 600 employees and $400 million in revenue.
Christine Christian is an independent company director and chairman with strong commercial, international and investment experience. Based in Australia, Christine is recognized globally as a leading authority on credit risk management, debt management, credit risk solutions, global business publishing and driving value through complex business intelligence. Christine has served in numerous senior executive roles including 14 years as CEO of D&B Australia & New Zealand and 8 years as Chairman of D&B Consumer Credit Services.
David Emery is the Founder/Chairman of Reciprocus, a Global M&A Advisory Boutique based in Singapore. He serves as an Advisor to several organizations & government agencies, and sits on several boards. Prior to founding Reciprocus in October 2011, he was with Dun & Bradstreet for over 16 years, lastly as a Member of the Group’s Executive Board (GLT) and President of Asia Pacific. During his tenure with D&B he was also Chairman of D&B India and Vice-Chairman of Huaxia D&B China. Previously he served as a Regional General Manager at Xerox. Reciprocus is a member of BIIA
