Harte-Hanks Inc. has wrapped up a major update to the company’s Ci Technology Database.

The new database will be marketed to firms that want to sell IT products to targeted companies.  The database includes total technology counts for tablet users, smartphone users, wireless users, Internet users, PCs, desktops, laptops, servers, printers, storage, broadband capacity and routers.

Harte-Hanks conducted more than 8,000 telephone surveys across 280 industry segments. It took the company more than 70,000 hours to complete the database.

Harte-Hanks, Inc. also announced that its Vice Chairman, Houston H. Harte, would retire from the Company after over 60 years of service to the Company, including over 25 years as its Chairman of the Board. Mr. Harte’s retirement will be effective at the Company’s 2013 annual meeting of stockholders, presently scheduled for May 29, 2013.

The company also announced that its Board of Directors has been expanded to nine members (until Mr. Harte’s retirement), and that Stephen Carley and Scott Key have been elected to the company’s Board of Directors effective March 17, 2013.
