For the year ended 31st March, Indian business media group, Infomedia, recorded a loss of US$1.2 million compared with a net profit of US$3.4 million the year before. The loss was largely due to the increased cost of raw materials and rising employee costs.

Overall revenues fell slightly. In the year ended 31st March 2008, total revenues were US$45.9 million. The year before Infomedia recorded revenues of US$47.2 million. Infomedia’s key business units are publishing and printing services. Revenues from publishing operations rose by 4% totaling US$25.2 million.
