IRON Solutions Logo_Color_10 24 12 AIron Solutions, the company that specializes in providing data, intelligence, and technology tools for equipment dealer profitability, is expanding at its Franklin headquarters, doubling its office space and adding staff.

Iron Solutions is now occupying two floors of the three-story office building at 660 Bakers Bridge Avenue, with a total of more than 12,000 square feet of space. The company had occupied a single floor of the building prior to expansion.

The expansion includes plans to hire at least two dozen software and application developers, support staff, and professional services team members. Iron Solutions, which got its start publishing the industry-leading IRON Guides to used agriculture and construction equipment values, is now focusing heavily on advanced technology tools for equipment dealers and producers.

“With the types of data-driven technology tools and applications that we have brought to market and continue to develop, we are looking for the best developers and support people we can find,” said Scott Derksen, Chief Information Officer for Iron Solutions. “We had to expand our headquarters facility in order to accommodate this added staff.”

Among Iron Solutions’ advanced technology tools are a soon to be announced enterprise resource planning system for equipment dealerships; IRON Vector, a web-based equipment trend and valuation tool; IRON HQ-CRM, a cloud-based customer relationship and enterprise planning platform; and specialized modules that allow dealers to provide advanced precision agriculture and related services offerings.

The company also recently unveiled its enhanced and redesigned IRONSearch.com website, a trusted and popular online marketplace for buying and selling equipment, and technology development is ongoing for the site.

Once it completes hiring the technology staff it needs, Iron Solutions will have nearly 70 employees in Franklin.

Iron Solutions originally moved into the Bakers Bridge Avenue facility in May 2012. The company also has an office in Fenton, Missouri, dedicated to publishing the IRON Guides, the premier source of market information for agricultural, industrial, and outdoor power equipment.
