The B20 China Kick-off Meeting will be held on January 25-26, 2016 in Beijing, China.
As the first official event of B20 China, the kick-off meeting will release the vision of B20 China, key event plan, and the list of chair, co-chairs, network partners and knowledge partners of each taskforce. It will also mark the launch of policy discussion of B20China taskforces.
About 300 leaders of enterprises, chambers of commerce and associations from G20 members, as well as representatives of international organizations are cordially invited to attend the kick-off meeting.

About B20: The Business 20 (B20) provides a significant platform for the international business community to participate in global economic governance and international economic and trade regulation. Centered on B20 taskforce meetings and the B20 summit, it supports the work of the G20 by hosting focused policy discussions and developing recommendations geared towards strong, sustainable and balanced growth in the global economy.
Over the years B20 priorities have been clearly aligned with those of the G20 Summit, focusing on major goals in global economic development. These include financial system reform, trade, investment, infrastructure, employment and anti-corruption policy. The B20 taskforces consult with the business community and devise a list of recommendations for G20 members. Since 2010 more than 400 policy recommendations have been proposed. These continue to be highly valued by G20 leaders and many have been incorporated into previous G20 communiqués. Many G20 leaders have attended previous B20 summits and exchanged views with B20 delegates.

Taskforce Chair/Co-chairs of both China and previous B20, representatives from global business community and international organizations will exchange views on the history, achievements and future development of B20.

Taskforce Chair/Co-chairs of both China and previous B20, representatives from global business community and international organizations will share expectations on how B20 and B20 China can contribute to an innovative, invigorated, interconnected and inclusive world economy.

16:00-16:45 Plenary Session
This session will invite senior government officials of China to present the theme of G20 China. Priorities and key events of B20 China will also be released by the Chair of B20 2016 Hos Committee.
