KBRA Analytics, Inc. announced a recent investment in Weiss Residential Research LLC (WRR). The partnership will provide end users with an abundant, credit worthy amount of information.
Weiss Residential Research’s proprietary technology optimizes housing market decisions. Weiss’ technology has calculated property specific price indexes for over 45 million homes, far more than alternative index databases. The increased resolution of the WRR indexes makes unseen trends visible, providing earlier indications of market changes.
WRR’s founder Allan Weiss has helped create several residential risk management solutions over the past 20 years. In 1992 Weiss co-founded Case Shiller Weiss (CSW) with professors Karl Case and Robert Shiller. CSW created home price indexes at the metro area and zip code levels. CSW provided better house price information to the marketplace and enabled the creation of home price securities.
