Not all of the 23 trade publications Reed Elsevier closed last week will remain shuttered. The management team of what was Reed Business Information-US’ supply chain group announced that it has reached an agreement with Reed Elsevier to acquire Logistics Management, Modern Materials Handling, Supply Chain Management Review and Material Handling Product News. The ‘Logistics Industry” is a vital component of modern manufacturing and if the necessary expertise and talents are in place, perhaps more innovation and renewed growth will take place.
