MICROSOFT SUES SALESFORCE.COM ALLEGING PATENT INFRINGEMENT

Microsoft filed a patent suit against Salesforce.com Tuesday, alleging that Salesforce’s core customer-relationship management technology violates nine Microsoft patents. Microsoft is seeking an injunction against San Francisco-based Salesforce and unspecified monetary damages in the complaint, which was filed in U.S. District Court in Seattle., according to TechFlash, a Seattle website owned by American City Business Journals, which publishes the San Francisco Business Times.
