Karja Suchana Kendra Limited (KSKL) appoints D&B as the technology and business partner to upgrade the Nepalese credit bureau. 

Established in 1989 under the directive of Nepal Rastra Bank, Nepals’s first and only private credit bureau – Karja Suchana Kendra Limited (KSKL) has appointed D&B as a technology & business partner.

KSKL is jointly owned by Commercial Banks, Finance Companies, Development Banks in Nepal and Nepal Rastra Bank. The KSKL credit bureau has been functioning since 1989 and in 2012, they have received support from Asian Development Bank to launch a Request for Proposal inviting international companies to bid for upgrading their system and offering business consultancy services.  After a three month bidding process, Dun & Bradstreet has been appointed as the preferred vendor.

D&B Credit Bureau and Analytics (Dubai) will deploy their new state of the art technology, SilverBladeTM to ensure a world-class bureau is established in Nepal. SilverBladeTM is D&B’s proprietary credit bureau application designed to build robust and high speed credit bureau infrastructure
