Celebrating International Women’s Month

Credit Information Corporation of the Philippines participated in W-GDP Webinar entitled “Ease of Doing Business: Helping Women Entrepreneurs Start and Sustain their Business”

The webinar coincided with International Women’s Month, and was organized by the Philippines’ UPPAF Regulatory Reform Support Program for National Development, a grantee of the USAID.   The webinar focused on the Ease of Doing Business (EODB) policies and practices on business licensing, accessing credit, and registering property in the Philippines.

Atty. Aileen L. Amor-Bautista, Senior Vice President of the Credit Information Corporation, a member of BIIA, joined the panel discussion on the Philippine government’s credit registry efforts to provide micro and small entrepreneurs a credit footprint and facilitate their access to credit.

The “Ease of Doing Business: Helping Women Entrepreneurs Start and Sustain Their Business” is the sixth in the W-GDP Webinar Series on Women’s Economic Empowerment organized by the University of the Philippines Public Administration Research and Extension Services Foundation, Inc., (UPPAF) in partnership with the Philippine Commission on Women, the UP Center for Women’s and Gender Studies (UP CWGS), and the Women’s and Gender Studies Association of the Philippines.
