Mike Bradford, BIIA’s expert on Privacy and Data Protection was featured recently in CCTA Consumer Credit Magazine Jan: Mar 2014 “So you think you are FCA compliant”. FCA is the UK Financial Conduct Authority and will come down hard on non-compliant businesses. Mike Bradford states it bluntly:
“…both the UK Information Commissioner and the FCA are likely to be far mor punitive on a business without a robust control framework in place, accepting that no business is immune from an incident”.
