Reuters Software (Thailand) says it remains committed to Thailand despite a recent reorganization that resulted in layoffs. The company last month laid off 40 quality assurance staff out of its total of 1,400 employees.
The country’s largest software employer said the country remained one of the top three development centers for US-based Thomson Reuters. Thomson Reuters Thailand has two business units: Thomson Reuters operating intelligent information with 200 employees, and Reuters Software (Thailand) with 1,400 staff handling software development.
