The merger allows SIIA to focus its resources and become a more powerful and resourceful association to better assist our collective members grow and succeed. The inherent synergies between our two associations are many.
- ABM serves the business to business media and information profession and helps members navigate tumultuous change in the media industry by providing insight and intelligence. ABM assists its members adapt to new business requirements, increases their competitiveness and positions them for future growth and development.
- CISD serves information, publishing and media companies as well as the technology companies that are reshaping the B2B marketplace by applying technologies to innovative content and business models.
Effective immediately, the combined Board of Directors and Executive Committee includes a balance of leadership from both associations. Both entities will provide oversight and guide the membership by bringing together member companies at the intersection of business information, media and technology.
SIIA stated in its announcement: “As we evolve our new combined community, we will be rebranding our new, impressive association, and will keep you updated on our progress and new developments.”
