Shenzhen-based Youxin Network Technology, operator of mobile instant messaging app Uxin, has received a USD 100 mln investment from Chinese internet company Sina (Nasdaq: SINA). A Uxin function has now been added to the mobile app for Chinese microblogging platform Weibo (Nasdaq: WB), a subsidiary of Sina, and users can make and receive calls via the feature.

Youxin Network Technology, set up in 2012, is a mobile internet company focused on internet-based telecommunication services. The Uxin app had amassed over 100 mln users by the end of 2014 with daily active users nearing 10 mln.
