As a market leader, Thomson Reuters has been working in close partnership with a variety of FinTech accelerator programs globally to support FinTech start-ups. The collaboration with Finatext marks the first time Thomson Reuters has collaborated with a FinTech venture in the Japan market.

Finatext is a mobile-focused financial solutions provider that aims to increase users’ financial literacy and revolutionize retail investment through creative technology. Under the collaboration, Thomson Reuters provides Finatext with access to instant financial and economic data as well as Reuters news, with which Finatext utilizes to develop and improve their applications.

By combining Thomson Reuters data and Finatext’s platform, Finatext aims to develop “market trends analysis,” a new and diversified financial service that provides data analysis of currencies, stock prices estimates and leading market trends. The new service helps investors make decisions faster, quicker and more accurately.

The collaboration promotes innovation in Japan and globally, opening up new and exciting opportunities for the FinTech market.
