The Tax & Accounting business of Thomson Reuters has recently entered into an agreement with Thompson Hine LLP to provide companies with a full spectrum of custom retirement plans that meet the requirements of both the plan provider and the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).
The agreement provides a strategic alliance of the market-leading AccuDraft™ plan delivery capabilities of Thomson Reuters with the document content and complex plan-drafting capabilities of Thompson Hine’s Plan Document Systems™ (PDS™) services. Thomson Reuters with its AccuDraft product line is a leading retirement plan documentation provider for employer-sponsored 401(k), 403(b), profit sharing, money purchase, and defined benefit plans. Thompson Hine with its PDS services provides high-end plan document content and drafting services to significant investment service providers in the employee benefits industry. By combining the document drafting capabilities and experience of PDS with the document delivery capabilities and experience of AccuDraft, the alliance will provide the most flexible, reliable, and high-quality document services to unbundled and bundled retirement services providers on a cost-efficient basis.
