Verint® Systems Inc. announced strategic upgrades to its Security and Situational Intelligence Solutions™ portfolio. The enhanced IP video surveillance technologies are designed for use in indoor and outdoor applications in a wide range of markets, including banking, retail, transportation, critical infrastructure, education and government.

Verint’s line of enhanced IP cameras expands the breadth of the company’s security and situational intelligence portfolio, bringing five new camera models to market this month. The cameras include fixed, indoor and outdoor vandal-resistant IP66 dome models, an entry-level Professional Line and a Wide Dynamic Range group of cameras that feature resolutions from 1080p to 3 megapixels to accommodate a variety of security and business intelligence requirements. The enhancements also consist of adaptive streaming and video compression that uses H.264 to help optimize bandwidth and storage, while the addition of MicroSD on-board storage increases redundancy. These features serve as a gateway for customers to leverage the full benefits of their Verint investment.
