Xinhua, China’s official news agency and China Mobile, China’s largest mobile network provider team up to create a mobile search company.  The obvious aim is to grab market share and perhaps to prevent Baidu becoming a monopoly.   Experts however think that the impact on Baidu would be limited.  It is also said that the political significance of this venture may outweigh any commercial impact.   Source:  Financial Times
