The companies have connected driving behavior data with Experian’s insurance marketplace to support auto insurer pricing and qualification workflows.

Arity (Chicago) and Experian (Dublin, Ireland) have partnered to make consumer-consented driving behavior data available to auto insurers through Experian’s insurance marketplace.

The partnership connects Arity’s driving intelligence with Experian’s insurance shopping platform, allowing carriers to incorporate driving behavior into quote and qualification workflows.

Arity says its analytics are based on driving behavior data tied to auto insurance claims. Experian Insurance Services engages more than 80 million members through insurance shopping, comparison and financial decision-making services, according to the companies.

The companies say the partnership is intended to expand carrier access to driving behavior data at the point of new business quoting, including for consumers with limited traditional driving histories.

Gary Hallgren, President, Arity“Driving behavior is one of the most valuable signals in insurance, but until now, scaling it has required carriers to build their own programs from scratch,” says Gary Hallgren, President, Arity. “By connecting consumer education with FCRA compliant driving intelligence at the point of shopping, we’re giving carriers something they haven’t had before — scalable, carrier‑agnostic behavioral insight without the buildout … scalable, carrier agnostic behavioral insight without the buildout.”

The companies say the partnership supports:

  • New business quoting: Driving data access during quote workflows rather than only at renewal
  • Consented shopper data: Access to consumers through Experian’s marketplace
  • Arity IQ: Driving intelligence for consumers with limited or no prior insurance history
  • Reduced carrier setup: No standalone application, telematics onboarding or consumer education program required

Jeff Sadler, Senior Director of Insurance Operations, Experian Consumer Services“Consumers are increasingly open to sharing driving data when they understand how it’s used—and that’s where this partnership starts,” says Jeff Sadler, Senior Director of Insurance Operations, Experian Consumer Services. “By educating consumers first and grounding the experience in transparency and consent, we’re helping carriers access driving intelligence in a way that’s scalable, trusted, and built on consumer choice.”
