CIBI Information, Inc. (CIBI) is pleased to announce that the Credit Information Corporation (CIC) has recently granted CIBI accreditation as the first Advanced Tier Special Access Entity (AT-SAE) in the Philippines, reinforcing their joint commitment to advancing financial inclusion in the country.

The Advanced Tier program allows Basic Tier Special Access Entities, like CIBI, to undergo additional comprehensive accreditation to receive additional benefits from the CIC. This includes access to submission files from Financial Institutions and the ability to process, consolidate, and match data in their own bureau system. CIBI’s purpose is to better leverage the information available in the CIC database and create the necessary mechanisms for the CIC to expedite the submission file collection process with the quality and coverage that the financial sector requires, as mandated by Republic Act No. 9510, Credit Information System Act (CISA) of 2008.

This project aims to increase confidence in the information available in the CIC, both within the financial industry and among consumers. CIBI’s significant efforts seek to take the lead in providing more accurate and real-time information with improved predictive capability to be used as a complement in credit decision-making processes, addressing the credit management needs identified by industry players.

This achievement has been supported by Creador, CIBI’s primary investor, through their recent additional investments and infusions. This substantial commitment underscores their strong belief in CIBI’s initiatives, especially the Advance Tier project.
