On August 22, 2025, in Ho Chi Minh City, FiinGroup and OCBS Securities Joint Stock Company (OCBS) officially signed a cooperation agreement. This milestone marks the collaboration between the strengths in data analytics and credit ratings of FiinGroup with the expertise in investment banking advisory of OCBS, aiming to enhance transparency, promote sustainable finance, and deliver effective capital solutions for Vietnamese enterprises.
As Vietnam works toward upgrading its stock market, the demand for transparency, credit ratings, and green finance is more urgent than ever, especially with the corporate bond market undergoing significant restructuring alongside the Government’s Net Zero commitment.
The partnership focuses on several key areas:
- Data collaboration: OCBS will continue leveraging FiinGroup’s comprehensive data analytics ecosystem to support analysis and develop market and sector reports.
- Value creation for the market: Organizing seminars and networking initiatives to connect investors and enterprises, bringing tangible benefits to clients.
- Promoting a credit rating culture: OCBS will act as Rating Advisor, guiding issuers through the credit rating process, strengthening transparency in bond issuance, and enhancing investor protection.
- Green Bonds development: The two parties will jointly evaluate and advise on green bond frameworks aligned with both Vietnamese and international standards, supporting businesses in accessing sustainable financing.
