DAIL Software provides specialised solutions to solve problems related to data processing by optimising and streamlining processes. With this purchase, INFORMA wants to improve the services offered to its users by implementing the latest data processing Artificial Intelligence technologies from Dail Software.

Informa D&B (a subsidiary of Cesce), leader in Business, Financial, Sectorial and Marketing Information supply, has announced the acquisition of 50% of the Artificial Intelligence company Dail Software. It invested €3,250,000 in the project. This purchase is part of the company’s 2021-2024 Strategic Plan, which aims to modernise its range of products and services, making the latest information processing and decision-making automation Artificial Intelligence technologies available to its users.

Dail Software is a company specialised in the development of corporate Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Natural Language Processing (NLP) applications, that was born 10 years ago in the academic sector: Madrid’s UPM (Polytechnical University of Madrid). Its products and services offer solutions to solve problems related to data processing (structured or unstructured, language-independent or not), optimising and streamlining businesses processes, enabling response times reduction and cost savings. Both Informa D&B and its subsidiary CTI Soluciones will market Dail Software’s products, including several applications for intelligent capture and classification of documents and their data (Public Tenders, Simple Reports, Grants, etc.), as well as tracking social networks and media for opinion analysis and customer service in real-time.

According to Juan Sainz, Informa D&B’s CEO: “The acquisition of Dail Software will mean a qualitative leap to offer real-content-solutions to companies within what is called “Digital Transformation”. There is such a great impact of cost savings derived from the introduction of automated intelligence in business processes as it allows companies to reach more places in less time and cheaper. The introduction of Hybrid Artificial Intelligence as a synergy between human and artificial intelligence provides organisations with a previously unknown power”. The great differential advantage of Dail Software is on its approach to natural language automated processing with technologies ranging from Natural Language Understanding to Natural Language Generation, reaching some of the highest accuracy figures in the market when it comes to Spanish language. It can also study and solve specific company problems requiring versatile and in-depth knowledge.

Jesús Cardeñosa, the founder of Dail Software, points out that: “Although there is constant talk about Artificial Intelligence more people are talking about it than actually working with it. Dail offers many years of experience, the solid training of its team members and a rigorous approach to work methodologies to seamlessly incorporate AI in companies in a natural way. INFORMA’s entry into the company will serve to accelerate its growth and make the most of its knowledge of the Spanish market”.

Dail Software is a reference both nationally and internationally for being the leading promoter of the UNESCO Chair on the use of technology for multilingualism (TECLIN). It has a team of engineers and linguists with deep scientific, technical and industrial experience in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, NLP, Linguistics and Machine Translation.
