The expert relies on his profound knowledge in the areas of IT and cyber security, which he contributes as managing director of KSV1870 Nimbusec GmbH. He will continue to exercise this function.

Under the motto “Internal security concerns us all”, the overarching goal of the KSÖ is to make Austria safer on various levels. In order to achieve this, the non-profit association is constantly working to raise people’s awareness of the problem and brings together experts from politics, business, the executive branch, science and the media. Especially in times of increasing cybercrime, IT and cyber security are of particular importance. A topic that Alexander Mitter has been dealing with intensively since the beginning of his professional career.

“We are very pleased that we have succeeded in convincing Alexander Mitter, a proven cyber security specialist, to take on this central task in the KSÖ. Due to joint projects in the past, we know him well and know that he will carry out this function with a lot of passion,” says Alexander Janda, Secretary General of the KSÖ.
