Prarthna Kapur will lead Verisk Maplecroft, while Harry White will head Property Claim Services.
Verisk (Jersey City, N.J.) has promoted Prarthna Kapur to lead Verisk Maplecroft and Harry White to lead Property Claim Services.

Both executives will report to Rob Newbold, President, Verisk Catastrophe and Risk Solutions, according to Verisk statements.
Kapur has been promoted to SVP and will lead Verisk Maplecroft, the company’s global risk analytics unit focused on sustainability and political risk intelligence. She most recently served as Head of Product, Verisk Maplecroft, where she helped advance product strategy and strengthen the unit’s client solutions for organizations facing complex global risks.
“Prarthna’s experience in product strategy, analytics and business intelligence will help us build on Maplecroft’s foundation to accelerate scalable, solution-led growth,” comments Newbold. “That perspective makes her exceptionally well suited to lead a team dedicated to helping clients manage interconnected risks with greater clarity and confidence.”
Kapur joined Verisk nearly four years ago and has more than 16 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence operations, quantitative analysis and financial market insight. She previously held roles at Moody’s Analytics and AllianceBernstein. Kapur holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

White has been promoted to Head of Property Claim Services (PCS), a Verisk business that provides independent industry loss estimates for catastrophe and non-catastrophe events. PCS serves global insurance, reinsurance and insurance-linked securities markets.
In his new role, White will lead PCS as it continues to support the market with catastrophe loss information and expand its capabilities across natural and specialty catastrophe events.
“Harry brings deep knowledge of financial markets and a strong understanding of how insurers and bond market participants use risk analytics to assess and manage risk,” comments Newbold. “His experience, client relationships and understanding of the reinsurance and ILS markets position him to lead PCS with clarity and momentum as the business enters its next phase of growth and innovation.”
White has been with Verisk for 16 years. He most recently served as Head of Commercial Strategy, PCS, where he led commercial strategy, supported growth in PCS’s industry loss estimate capabilities and strengthened engagement with clients and market participants.
